Welcome to my first newsletter! I am so excited that my new novella, Montana Home will be released onĀ December 19th. It was a long process for me to publication. I was not able to devote all my time to writing. A full time job and a family took most of my energy. Family is very important to me, so that always came first.

I had my first author event on October 22, 2016 with several other authors, Kathy Lyons/Jade Lee, K.C. Bateman, T.M. Cromer, Kelly Moran, Valerie Twombly, and Aubrey Wynne at the OSF Women’s Lifestyle Show. It was a wonderful experience to meet fans and share news of my upcoming release.



I will share recipes on my website since I love to cook and share the bounty with family and friends. I love Fall! Living in the Midwest we have four distinct seasons. One of my favorite Fall recipes is Apple Crisp. Serving it while it’s still warm with vanilla ice cream is heaven on earth.

Apple Crisp

Mix 5 peeled chopped apples with 1 tablespoon lemon juice in an 8 inch square baking dish. With your hands or pastry blender, work 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter into 1 cup each rolled oats and packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 1/2 tsp. salt until mixture is clumpy and combined. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in a 350 degrees oven until apples are tender, about 1 hour, 10 minutes.
